Nadja Hennig grew up in Bavaria. After her parents' early divorce, she struggled with eating disorders in her teens until she found an ally in sports. After graduating from high school, she brought an Italian with her from a “women's vacation”. She became pregnant and signed a lease on a restaurant a week after the birth of her daughter in July 1997. Then three months later she was pregnant with her son. After the breakdown of the relationship, she moved with the children to Munich in 2002 to study. While studying business education at LMU Munich, she started triathlon and found the motto that shapes her approach to life: “Anything is possible. But nothing great ever comes from comfort zones ". She has lived in Vienna since 2013 and works as a quality and environmental manager in the IT industry. In order to realize her Ride4Respect project, she quit her job in 2019.
